Sidelines Needs Volunteers!

Sidelines needs you! If you have experienced a complicated pregnancy, and are interested in helping others, you can become a Sidelines volunteer. Let us know of your interest through an online volunteer application. Once your application has been approved, we will send you a Sidelines volunteer training packet in the mail. You can train to be a Sidelines volunteer in the comfort of your own home!

Prerequisites For Becoming A Sidelines Volunteer

Many women ask...can anyone who has been pregnant become a Sidelines volunteer? We base our support network on volunteers that have been through a complicated pregnancy that may or may not have included bedrest.

To qualify, answer the following questions:

1) Have you experienced a high-risk or complicated pregnancy?
2) Are you willing to help others in a similar situation?
3) Do you have the ability to support moms via email or phone?

If you answered yes to all three, then you qualify to become a Sidelines Volunteer!

What Does A Sidelines Volunteer Do?

Volunteers offer support and understanding to women and their families expericncing a high-risk or complicated pregnancy.

Volunteers do not give medical advice! They supprt the Moms and their families emotionally and encourage them to have their medical questions answered by their health care provider.

Sidelines encourages complicance with Dr.'s orders. We are team players, confidential, and dedicated!

How Are Sidelines Volunteers Trained?

We train all of our Sidelines Volunteers through a uniuqe on-line system that allows you to train at your own pace and print our materials for future use.

Once you have finished your training, we will need you ro return the forms you are requested to fill out.

Special Note!

Once we receive your application,  you must send us a copy of a valid driver's license before you can begin your training.  You can send this as an attachment  when you reply to the email you receive from our Training Coordinator.  The copy can also be either mailed or faxed to the Training Coordinator.  If your Social Security Number shows on your driver's license, please darken it before sending the copy to Sidelines.
